We opened in 2019 in the old pilot station on Wharf Road. The room is small, the deck is not.
Beans come from a roaster in Carrington and are ground to order. The kitchen cooks from what local growers bring in that week. Morning light hits the tables from about seven, and the water does the rest.

The deck looks straight down the harbour. Tugs, ferries, pelicans, and a sunrise that arrives before the first flat white.
Single-origin beans roasted in Carrington, ground to order. Espresso, batch brew and a cold brew in summer.

We are at 12 Wharf Road, Newcastle NSW 2300, on the harbour side. Street parking on Wharf Road, and the foreshore car park is a short walk along the water.

We open at 6:30am Monday to Friday and 7am on weekends. The kitchen closes at 2:30pm, and the cafe at 3pm.
